Engine Markings

Postby Richard » Mon Oct 25, 2010 12:06 pm

Hi everyone. Am trying to create a page showing the different locations on the Wolseley range of engines where the serial number, manufacture date and timing marks are positioned. If you are able can you please take a picture of your type of these on your engine and forward though to myself. Please also add a note to this posting that you have done so so I can ensure the mail has arrived ok.
Thanks

I will get the camera out and see what i can do for you.

Thinking about it, there are no timing marks on the outside of a WD 1, 2 or 8.
There are marks ( dot marks ) on the inside edge on the cogs!

If it dont fire, you got it 180 degrees out just take the mag off and turn it round half a turn, unless you got the cogs back in skewy.
