New to your site

Post by gcm » Fri Oct 14, 2016 6:03 am

Hi, Not sure about you guys but I am addicted to tools and stationary engines. Recently got a Wolseley which I think is about 1945 somewhere. I unfortunately only have 3 stationary engines at the moment bu I am working on my collection. The other two are a 1932 Witte and a I think 1959 Lister (still to be confirmed).
What gets me going everyday is my projects in my workshop and I busy restoring the Witte and make my own parts i.e. bearings, etc.
I am joining this group to learn more about the great old engineering of stationary engines. At the moment I have decided that I will only by a motor pre 1960. So far so good ;-)
