Ruston Hornsby

Postby Hunter » Mon May 02, 2011 3:45 pm

I am not sure whether I am getting too excited here or not, yesterday when talking to an old friend in the village we were stood in his yard when through a rusty barn that I did not even know was there I spotted two large fly wheels.

On further investigation I found a large open crank what I take to be an Ruston Hornsby. It is half buried, in a very sorry state, but it needs help, he is a funny chap and it will need rescuing slowly slowly.................

Whatch this space, I need to find more info and get some pictures.
