WD11 #16568

Can anyone tell me the date and maybe the history of this engine please. I'm very curious as she has got a keyway machined into the starter shaft as well as a peg.
I am wondering if she was a dual wheel type.

Thanks in advance.

Setting up the gearing in the wd1.

Can some one please guide me step by step, crank - cam - mag and impulse how you set these out as I'm having trouble with my timing I think. Assume crank and Magneto gears are already out on the bench.... Thank you.

Re: WD2

Nice, bit like the one I picked up. I found out that mine has got a Ruston Hornsby 3" piston [pb/pt] I don't know if there is a difference from the wrist pin to the crown on the piston but mines got seriously high compression -take the plug out and it flys round lol. Good Luck!

Wolseley WD1 #5380 Parts Req'd -Magneto.

Could any one help? I am trying to source a A906Z Wico Magneto for a Wolseley WD1 please?

I have ended up with a pile of Petter ones apparently, They look the same but no where close to fit.

Thanks in advance. :)

With agriculture, you have to use what you have got lol Not uncommon for parts to jump from one breed to another.

Re: Wolseley wd 8 exhaust

I believe you are looking for one that looks like a grenade with a large nut welded on the end.
