Wolseley R Brochure

Did anyone on here buy the 1930 Wolseley R type engine brochure that was on ebay UK last week, it looked a very interesting read with a picture of a Wolseley Generating set on the back and presumably specs of the different sizes and engine applications inside. Would love to see some pictures from it...

Hi Pete,
Nice to see a paraffin model and with the three way tap still on it as well. Interesting spelling of 'Wolseley' on the tank, I bet the dealer had a few red faces over that one.

Hi Ian Welcome, for £200 you should get a very tidy Wolseley WD2, maybe even coupled up to something to drive with it. Be careful with buying on ebay unless you can go and check the engine out before bidding, as with any auction it is 'Buyer Beware' and faults are not always mentioned. Having said t...

Thanks for your welcome, I have filled the cylinder head with diesel at the moment and have been trying to undo the big end nuts but will have to make up a socket extension to reach the angle of innermost one. Hopefully that should allow me to take off the cylinder with the stuck piston. I was surpr...
